Nowadays, the e-commerce on mobile or m-commerce is becoming increasingly popular. People are using more and more their smartphones to research information before purchasing a good or service. Moreover, a growing part of these consumers is now completing their purchase online through their mobile. In the US for instance, there has been a 81% spike in the m-commerce sales in 2012, comprising a $25 billion market.
Therefore, retailers have to pay a close attention to this medium. Their mobiles websites or apps should at least show a seamless, user-friendly checkout process that reassures users and takes full advantage of the opportunities offered.
A list of advice is presented in the article (link hereunder) and recommendations are given in order to improve the checkout process on mobile and possibly increase the conversion rate.
